Hi! My name is Monica Flores

I am a passionate learning designer and founder of Prisma Learning.

My journey in the learning and development world started in high school, when I volunteered in adult literacy classes and I’ve never looked back. Since then, I have designed, delivered, and evaluated learning solutions around the world in different settings and for very different audiences. These experiences have made me realize that one size does not fit all, and that learninng can be very fun and versatile!

I created Prisma Learning to support instructors and organizations who want to upgrade their training programs and courses by applying the principles of instructional design, psychology, and neuroscience to their practice to help their audiences learn well, and apply their new knowledge and skills to their lives.

When I am not creating course outlines or delivering workshops, I enjoy the mountains that are close to where I live with my husband and sons. I am a history nerd and an avid ice-skater during the winter. I love pastry visits with friends and eating Asian food.
